Qualifications

• Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or
• Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or
• Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering analysis and guidance to resolve complex field issues.
• Manage multiple construction projects from start to finish using sound engineering practices.
• Review and interpret designs to address discrepancies and ensure intended results.
• Work with municipalities, utilities, businesses, and other partners to address project needs.
• Prepare reports, estimates, and work orders while tracking material certifications.
• Direct, evaluate, and support the work of subordinate employees.
