Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer for the Bastrop, TX facility to lead civil design and drive the construction of Starlink infrastructure. You will coordinate with engineers, vendors, designers, and internal customers to deliver a world-class manufacturing campus.

The role demands extensive civil engineering experience, a PE/EIT license, and proficiency with land development, drainage, and AutoCAD Civil3D. On-site work is required with possible extended hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering plus 8+ years of civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting.
• EIT or PE license required or active licensure preferred.
• Experience with land development, drainage, and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings, documentation, and reports for industrial, manufacturing, and land development projects.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, water distribution, and underground utilities.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Manage civil aspects of construction in the field, including QC and multi-discipline coordination.
• Interact with contractors, owners, and internal clients to define requirements, schedules, and costs.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real time.
