Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer for Land Development to support Starlink facility construction in Bastrop, TX. You will design, document, and manage land development and utility projects, working with multi-discipline teams to deliver infrastructure for production.

The role emphasizes on-site execution, coordination with contractors, and navigating permits. A strong background in civil design and AutoCAD Civil3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS is preferred. EIT/PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of professional civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting experience.
• Experience with land development and utility design projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
• Perform grading and drainage calculations, stormwater facilities, water distribution, and utilities.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal agencies for land development and utilities.
• Manage civil aspects of construction in the field, including QA/QC and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and internal clients to set requirements, schedules and estimates.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time.
