Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer, Offsite Infrastructure (Starlink) to lead complex external infrastructure projects tied to Starlink deployments.

You will coordinate with DOTs, utilities, and agencies to secure approvals and manage multi-discipline teams ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. The role requires a civil engineering background, 5+ years’ experience in off-site infrastructure, and the ability to manage permitting with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of professional civil engineering experience, with focus on off-site/external infrastructure and agency coordination.
• 8+ years of experience preferred; Texas PE/EIT license often required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DOT, utilities, and governmental entities to secure approvals and drive project execution for off-site improvements.
• Develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates with contractors and external stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and implementation of off-site transportation and utility extensions, including water, wastewater, gas, and related infrastructure.
• Manage civil aspects of off-site construction in the field, including quality control and multi-discipline coordination.
• Lead permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies to obtain approvals for transportation and utility interconnections.
• Resolve design/construction conflicts and integrate off-site infrastructure with on-site operations.
• Conduct impact studies (traffic, hydraulics, capacity) to support project advancement and risk mitigation.
