The role combines strong technical skills with mentoring and building lasting client relationships. You will manage scope, schedule and budget from concept through construction, oversee grading and earthwork balancing, stormwater design, and construction documents, and contribute to business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with grading and earthwork balancing required.
• Experience with stormwater design and construction stormwater permitting required.
• Experience coordinating directly with developers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Project Management – lead civil site design projects from scoping through construction, managing scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Solar Site Design – lead grading and earthwork balancing, stormwater design, and construction stormwater permitting for solar projects.
• Construction Documents – direct preparation of construction documents from 30% design through issued for construction (IFC).
• Quality Assurance – provide senior QA/QC review of plans, calculations, and deliverables at each design phase.
• Client Relationships – coordinate with developers and utility clients; develop and maintain client relationships across multiple projects.
• Business Development – identify and pursue opportunities in solar, utility, and site development markets.
• Staff Development – mentor and supervise engineers; promote professional growth.
