EVS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Eden Prairie, MN to lead civil design for complex utility-scale solar and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on technical leadership, mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality, constructible designs from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of civil engineering experience in site design and stormwater management.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, drainage, and site layout.
• Strong technical writing skills and experience preparing engineering reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design efforts for complex utility-scale projects, including grading, stormwater management, and site layout with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Develop engineering reports such as SWPPP, Stormwater Reports, and Basis of Design (BOD).
• Mentor junior engineers and guide team performance to ensure design quality.
• Provide construction-phase support by responding to RFIs, submittals, and technical inquiries.
• Review drawings, calculations, and design packages for accuracy and compliance.
