Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer in Houston, TX to lead planning, design, and permitting for land development and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance mixed-use, residential, education, and federal projects from concept through permitting.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree, with EIT certification and 3+ years in site/civil design, and is proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with strong communication and detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and modification of engineering documents (reports, plans, specs, schedules, estimates).
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology, and geologic data for project planning and design.
• Familiarity with local/state/federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
