Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its Tyler, TX team, providing planning, design, and permitting of civil, land development, and infrastructure projects. You will contribute to site/civil engineering design for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other land development projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification; PE certification preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects.
• Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other job duties as requested.
