Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Celina, Texas, is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team. This role focuses on planning, designing, and permitting civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, and higher education facilities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, an active EIT, 3+ years of site/civil design experience, and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification. PE certification preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including planning, grading, and drainage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, plans, schedules and cost estimates using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology, and geologic data for planning and design.
• Familiarity with local/state/federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other job duties as requested.
