Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks a Sr. Civil Engineer in Champaign, IL to lead owner-driven civil projects and develop client relationships. You will plan, design, and manage projects from inception to completion for municipal and private clients.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 15+ years in civil engineering, and a PE license (PLS a plus). Collaboration across disciplines and contributions to business development are expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage a variety of owner-driven civil engineering projects.
• Organize and complete projects from inception to completion.
• Support internal and external clients on Land Development related projects.
• Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and client consultants.
• Balance internal and external project schedules and staffing.
• Prepare project proposals.
• Assist with business development efforts.
• Assist the professional growth and development of Junior staff.
