Job summary

Olsson seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Site Design team in the Plano or Fort Worth area. This role offers flexible work options including remote and hybrid arrangements, enabling leadership on diverse projects while mentoring staff.

You will provide high-level technical design, oversee QA/QC, and coordinate with clients and disciplines. A PE license and 8+ years of experience are required, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of related Civil Engineering experience.
• Registered professional engineer with at least 4 years supervising technical personnel.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on complex projects and provide high-level technical design.
• Execute QA/QC plans for the team.
• Mentor staff and share technical expertise.
• Lead the effort to assemble technical resources for projects.
• Supervise/direct professionals and technical staff as needed.
• Review contracts with administrative support.
• Promote efficiencies to deliver quality work.
• Maintain quality control and thoroughly check plans.
