Olsson is seeking a Lead Civil Designer in the United States who will lead QA/QC for the team, review designs at a senior level, and supervise staff. Travel to client sites may be required as projects progress across diverse terrains and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting from an accredited program.
• 10 years of CAD software experience, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Project management skills for medium-sized projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects.
• Plans and oversees the quality review process of deliverables.
• Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution.
• Strengthens and develops subject matter expertise in design areas.
• Offers senior-level design review and serves as technical resource.
• Assists in preparing project studies by drawings, sketches, or data.
• Promotes efficiencies to produce quality work.
• Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff.
