Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a multi-discipline team in one of eight office locations, with a potential for full remote work for the right candidate.

The role emphasizes designing site development and industrial infrastructure, with opportunities to support surveying and 3D laser scanning services. The successful candidate will hold a civil engineering degree, be eligible for a professional engineering license within 12 months, and may travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year ABET-accredited college or university.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% locally and possibly overnight.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs for site grading, layout, stormwater management, sewers, water piping, pavement, parking, and general site development for industrial facilities.
• Develop engineering contract documents including drawings, specs, and installation scopes of work using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Lead gathering field data including surveying, 3D scanning, and related techniques.
• Estimate materials and prepare budgetary construction cost estimates.
