Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our High-Performance Building Group, supporting facilities and infrastructure projects across the United States. This role can be performed remotely, in hybrid mode, or in-office, with travel as needed and a focus on site design, stormwater, roadway, sanitary sewer, and water distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years in stormwater, land development, sanitary sewer distribution, water distribution, water tower design, and pump station design.
• Proven track record in proposal leadership and project delivery.
• Willingness to travel and serve as primary client contact.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes.
• Lead proposal development and support business development goals.
• Serve as technical liaison with clients and coordinate site evaluations.
• Review technical data, engineering calculations, and cost estimates.
• Lead site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, roadway, and water distribution designs.
• Interpret regulations and permitting requirements.
• Mentor and supervise staff; ensure deliverable quality.
• Travel for project meetings and field visits as required.
