Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our High-Performance Building Group. This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setting from locations across the Eastern and Central time zones.

You will lead civil design and project delivery for federal, commercial, data center, and microgrid projects, applying site design, stormwater, roadway, sanitary sewer, and watermain expertise while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients. Travel nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license.
10+ years of experience in stormwater, land development, sanitary sewer, water distribution, water towers, and pump stations.
Proven proposal leadership and project delivery experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain client relationships.
Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license; U.S. citizenship.
DoD/contracting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil engineering projects through planning, permitting, design, and construction.
Develop schedules, budgets, and scopes; ensure quality and delivery.
Lead proposal development and support business development.
Act as technical liaison with clients and coordinate site evaluations.
Review technical data, calculations, reports, and environmental permits.
Mentor staff and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Travel nationwide for meetings and site visits.
