Job summary

Halff, a leading infrastructure firm, invites a Senior Professional Civil Engineer to join our Jacksonville office. With 10+ years in public works design, you’ll drive complex projects and mentor teams.

You’ll lead client communications, manage design deliverables, and help pursue new opportunities across North Florida. A PE license and proven PM and BD experience are required, with a track record of quality, on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Florida PE license required; Civil.
• 10+ years of public works civil engineering experience.
• Proven PM experience delivering on schedule and budget.
• Business development and client management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Lead designer on infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, water/sewer, land development).

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop members of the Site Development/Public Works Team.
• Oversee project performance including production, profitability, quality, and staffing.
• Maintain client relationships across North Florida with private clients and multiple cities/counties.
• Identify business opportunities and lead pursuits.
• Directly manage projects and production staff on multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Halff leaders to share resources across the company.
