Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates, an employee-owned engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for public and private sector clients.

Roles may be based in Wilkes-Barre, Olyphant, or Hazleton offices. The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer with at least five years of experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage design teams and client relationships to deliver high-quality land

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Prior land development experience required.
• Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
• Prior project and client management experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver''s license for travel to client sites/meetings.
• Ability to attend evening meetings.
• Ability to obtain clearances (PA school projects).

Responsibilities

• Design subdivisions and land development.
• Zoning and approvals process.
• Stormwater management.
• Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans.
• Site utilities.
• Hydraulic calculations.
• Preparing project proposals and managing contracts, reports, and invoicing.
• Hiring/mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers.
