Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for public and private sector clients. Based in our Mechanicsburg Capital Region office, the role requires strong communication, project leadership, and client management.

A Professional Engineer license is required; BS in Civil Engineering; AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge; willingness to travel to client sites and attend evening meetings.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
Professional Engineer license required.
Prior land development experience required.
Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills essential.
Prior project and client management experience preferred.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
Valid driver's license for travel to client sites/meetings.
Ability to attend evening meetings and obtain necessary clearances for PA school projects.

Responsibilities

Design subdivisions and land development plans.
Navigate zoning and approvals processes.
Manage stormwater, site grading, and erosion control plans.
Develop site utilities and hydraulic calculations.
Prepare project proposals, manage contracts, reports, and invoicing.
Mentor junior engineers and designers; hire and manage staff.
