Job summary

Worley in Reading, Pennsylvania is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering services for projects, provide technical oversight, and mentor junior staff. You will ensure compliance with applicable standards and timely delivery within budget.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, project leadership, and strong communication. A US PE license is preferred and you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on earthworks, drainage, stormwater, and related design tasks.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant discipline experience.
• Experience working in project leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of applicable local and international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering services that meet specifications, on time and within budget.
• Supervise, guide and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
• Advise on environmental law requirements applicable to the project.
• Manage Civil resource hours and schedule.
• Proactively resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements.
• Stay updated with latest civil engineering developments and innovations.
• Site earthwork planning and land development.
• Site grading and drainage design.
• Haul road and crossing design.
• Access roads and facilities infrastructure design.
• Prepare Stormwater management plans and related infrastructure designs.
• Prepare/review Civil specifications, calculations, and reports.
