Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer and project manager to support surface mining and heavy civil infrastructure design. Lead and mentor teams, develop proposals, and deliver civil designs, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for Tailings Storage Facilities and mining projects.

Ideal candidate has PE license, 8+ years of relevant experience, and strong client coordination skills. Hybrid work model with opportunities across mining sites and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalency.
• PE license required for role.
• Master's or PhD in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical input to studies and design.
• Lead civil design, investigations, analyses and water management for tailings storage facilities.
• Serve as lead engineer on mid- to large-size projects and mentor staff.
