Job summary

AECOM, Denver, CO, seeks a Project Civil Engineer to lead mine tailings storage and heavy civil design. You will guide technical teams, review calculations, and drive quality in investigations, analyses, and designs.

Required BA/BS with 6+ years of experience and a PE license. Colorado/New Mexico/Utah/Arizona licensure is preferred. The role is on-site in Denver with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 yrs of relevant experience or equivalent.
• PE license and U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership for mine waste storage facilities and heavy civil projects.
• Review and mentor junior staff and act as technical advisor.
• Develop design procedures, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Prepare technical reports with clear figures and calculations.
• Coordinate with agencies and clients to align scope and permits.
