Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Power Generation Division. This role serves as the technical resource for civil infrastructure across a diverse fleet of power plants and acts as Owner's Engineer for evaluating asset condition and developing solutions through construction.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in civil/industrial settings.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops engineering projects with significant impact on major company programs.
• Acts as technical liaison to individuals inside and outside the organization on engineering matters.
• Completes assignments given in broad terms concerning general objectives and limitations.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
