Job summary

The role requires a BSCE, 5+ years of experience in retail, commercial, public, and residential projects, strong skills in Civil 3D, storm drainage, and utility design, and proven leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• BSCE from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in site/civil design across retail, commercial, public, and residential projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, storm drainage, water/sewer utilities, and erosion control.
• In-depth knowledge of local entitlement and permitting regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and execution of civil engineering projects with minimal supervision.
• Serve as primary client contact, fostering relationships through regular communication and problem-solving.
• Prepare and review proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Oversee and assign team responsibilities to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Perform QA/QC checks on technical deliverables and ensure design standard compliance.
• Navigate entitlement and permitting processes (rezoning, site plan approvals, etc.).
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and coordination with sub-consultants.
• Support business development and participate in local events and client activities.
