Job summary

Harris County’s Office of the County Engineer seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, analysis, design, and production of complex public infrastructure projects. This role applies advanced engineering judgment to deliver safe, cost-effective and code-compliant solutions.

With minimal supervision, you will direct hydrology and hydraulics work, combine grading and earthwork design, review calculations, and coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and external agencies to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Seven (7) years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Texas Professional Engineer licensure required.
