Gateway Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer in the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will have an EIT (PE preferred) and 8+ years of experience, with expertise in land development, water resources, and utility design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience expected.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required; P.E. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, and staff.
• Perform engineering calculations and create construction drawings with specs.
• Assist in preparation and QC of plans, specs, and permit apps.
• Provide technical information to Project Manager for specs.
• Draft plans using CADD software.
• Visit project sites to review conditions.
• Maintain compliance with codes and regulations.
• Represent the company at meetings and public hearings.
