Egis is seeking a Senior Water Engineer, Land Development, for the Pittsburgh or Camp Hill, PA office. You will lead water resource design efforts, coordinate with teams, and influence project scope, schedule, and budgets for transportation and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Pennsylvania PE, 8+ years of related experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MicroStation, Civil3D/Open Roads, and hydrology tools is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Four-year degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree.
• Pennsylvania PE required.
• 8+ years of experience in related water resources design and management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency designing with MicroStation and stormwater software (HydroCAD, Hydraflow, Pondpack, or SWMM).
• Experience gaining permits/approvals such as: NPDES Permit, DEP General Permit GP-11, Joint Permit Applications and Conservation District.
• Experience performing hydrological and hydraulic calculations and models using HEC-RAS.
• Proficiency designing with Civil3D or Open Roads Designer.

Aufgaben

• Independently progresses design to gain agency approval of stormwater/d rainage aspects.
• Understand PennDOT or PA Turnpike design criteria.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, plans, specs and drainage reports.
• Mentor and train junior staff members.
• Develop technical scope and price proposals for water resource tasks.
• Plan and coordinate own work and others to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor project issues, scope changes, and budget variances.
• Apply experience to anticipate risks and impacts on other project elements.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Support water resource projects across the region/country.
