Job summary

Onterris, Inc. seeks a Project Civil Engineer - Land Development to lead site design for institutional, commercial, residential, and industrial projects primarily in the Northeast.

You will work within the Site Design group of our Environmental Engineering and Consulting team, guiding complex development from concept through construction while ensuring regulatory compliance and practical, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program (B.S. or M.S.).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PA.
• 6+ years of relevant civil/site development experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and GIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• DevelopSubdivision and Land Development Plans.
• Site grading and utility design in 3D using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Stormwater management design and BMPs.
• Erosion and sedimentation control design.
• Vertical and horizontal roadway design and project detailing.
• Construction inspection and field testing.
• Manage project budgets, hours, timelines; interface with clients.
• Support business development including scope, fees, proposals.
