A Day in the Life

Our Project Civil Engineer – Land Development position is located in Valley Forge, PA. The Site Design group provides typical site / civil design services for Institutional, Commercial, Residential, and Industrial projects throughout the Northeast Region. We also support other Onterris groups on a wide variety of projects across the country. The Site Design group is part of the Environmental Engineering and Consulting team that delivers solutions for complex environmental challenges using our regulatory expertise and implementing practical and cost-effective compliance management processes and programs. Onterris addresses our clients’ biggest concerns around permitting, ecoservices, assessment, and remediation. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

Your Expertise and Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university program
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PA
• Experience using AutoCAD, HydroCAD, GIS, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel software
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance and engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and demonstrated project management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced consulting environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate in a multi‑disciplinary team environment and build effective working relationships
