Job summary

Onterris, a leading environmental solutions firm, seeks a Project Civil Engineer – Land Development in Valley Forge, PA. You will design subdivision and land development projects, oversee site grading and utility design in 3D using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and manage projects from scope to client reporting.

Responsibilities include stormwater design, erosion control, roadway design, and construction inspection. A PE license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PA.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and site development design.
• Regulatory knowledge and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop subdivision and land development plans.
• Perform site grading and utility design in 3D using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Design stormwater management and erosion/sediment control features.
• Create vertical and horizontal roadway designs and project detailing.
• Conduct construction inspection and field testing.
• Manage project budgets, hours, timelines, and client communications.
• Support business development including scope development, fee estimation, and proposals.
