Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for public and private sector clients. Based in our Mechanicsburg Capital Region office, the role requires strong communication, project leadership, and client management.

A Professional Engineer license is required; BS in Civil Engineering; AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge; willingness to travel to client sites and attend evening meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills essential.

As a multi-discipline firm, Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We have an opportunity for a Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for clients in the public and private sectors. The position is based in our Capital Region (Mechanicsburg) Office. Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, engineer, and CAD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential. The best candidate will be a Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least ten years’ experience in the design and management of land development projects. Some of the accomplishments we are looking for include experience in building and maintaining client relations, business development, delegation of responsibility, and the ability to mentor subordinates and junior engineers.
