Bowman Consulting in Tempe, AZ seeks a Civil Engineer II to join our team. You will evaluate standard engineering techniques for moderately complex projects and coordinate with design teams on land development.

Strong CAD and design software experience is essential, with opportunities to grow professionally in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include conceptual design, calculations, reports, and cross-disciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in civil engineering required at hire.
• EIT certification and/or progress toward PE preferred.
• 3+ years in civil or land/site development engineering.
• Experience with land development drainage and BMP design favored.
• Proficiency reading construction plans and civil design software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS and related tools.

Responsabilités

• Conceptualize initial civil design approaches for land/site development phases.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases.
• Perform civil design work and calculations using computer-aided software.
• Prepare reports, plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
