Bowman Company is seeking a Civil Designer I to join our Tempe, AZ team. The role focuses on design phases for land development, including site, grading, utilities, and municipal systems, under supervision.

The ideal candidate will learn CAD tools, work with Civil 3D, and assist in drafting and reviewing drawings to adhere to standards. This is an entry-level position with growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Entry level position; no prior experience required.
• Drafting/engineering technician experience in land development is a plus.
• Experience with Civil3D, Bentley Systems; reading construction plans.

Responsabilités

• Transform initial sketches and rough product designs into working documents using CAD.
• Utilize Civil 3D (2018) to complete design work.
• Assist in developing and reviewing civil engineering drawings to meet specs.
• Assist senior staff with clients, agencies, and design teams on moderately complex issues.
• Work with project manager to adjust scope or budgets as needed.
