Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer for land development at the College Station facility. The role focuses on heavy civil and utility work, driving infrastructure design from planning through execution on site.

You will develop drawings, perform grading and drainage calculations, coordinate permits, and manage civil construction activities with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a world-class campus facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Manage civil aspects of construction projects in the field, including quality control and vendor coordination.
• Interact with contractors and internal clients to develop requirements, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in real time.
