Kimley-Horn's Albuquerque office seeks a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of engineering design experience to join the Land Development team. This on-site role focuses on site development, project management, and coordination with clients and jurisdictions on residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include design, permitting, cost estimation, staff coordination, and preparation of bid packages and construction documents.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management and project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients and overseeing quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in budgeting, permitting for land disturbance, and preparation of bid packages and technical specs.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Build internal and external professional relationships.
