Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Mesa, AZ office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

You'll perform site development engineering, manage projects, and lead land development site designs for residential and commercial projects, coordinating with clients and jurisdictions. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and PE licensing is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Lead land development site designs and coordinate with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare bid packages, technical specifications, and permit applications.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and quality standards.
• Develop internal and external professional relationships.
