Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Reno, NV office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

You will perform site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial projects, coordinating with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors while developing bid packages and construction documents in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• P.E. License or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management and project coordination.
• Coordinating with clients and attending client meetings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and plan set creation.
• Design experience including utilities, site layout, drainage and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, jurisdictions, and contractors.
• Develop construction documents and plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
