Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Houston office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience for the Land Development team. This is not a remote position and requires strong site civil design and project management skills.

You will work on residential and commercial land development projects, coordinating with clients, jurisdictions, and a team of engineers and designers to deliver design packages and construction documents.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management and assisting project management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Lead land development site designs and coordinate with clients and jurisdictions.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare bid packages, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
