Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development for our Minneapolis, MN and Madison, WI locations. You will work independently on smaller projects and as part of a larger project under senior staff guidance.

Responsibilities include evaluating civil systems, developing designs, and performing calculations while coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors. The role requires a PE or eligibility within 6 months and generally 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and engineer civil systems or products for projects.
• Lead design development through sketches, models, diagrams and markups.
• Prepare and revise site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and details.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, owners, and contractors.
• Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary tools.
