Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to provide high-level guidance for due diligence, remediation, and construction of infrastructure projects across public and private sectors. You will lead design efforts for facilities, transportation, water, and utilities, coordinating with owners, disciplines, and clients to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 7–10 years of post-education engineering experience.
• Engineer license required.
• Proficient with civil engineering principles, design/build, and permitting.
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure design and construction management.
• Ability to lead teams and multi-project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Guide data collection from sites, surveys, GIS data, and maps.
• Apply high-level civil engineering techniques across project phases.
• Conduct site investigations for regulatory compliance.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage design and construction of infrastructure projects including rehab and new work.
• Incorporate advanced technologies and modeling to future-ready solutions.
• Oversee cross-functional teams and manage budgets, hours and expenses.
• Coordinate with owners, sub-consultants, and clients; ensure QA/QC.
