Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years post-education engineering experience.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Proficient in civil design, permitting, and project issues.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design and construction management.
• Familiar with civil construction laws, codes, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and numerical computation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead junior team members with QA/QC.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct private development and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across budgets, hours, and costs.
• Gather and analyze data from surveys, GIS, and hydrologic data.
• Develop grading plans, stormwater systems, and earthwork analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes and permits.
• Lead coordination with subcontractors and clients.
