Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA essential.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience focused on infrastructure design and project management.
• Experience in roads, stormwater and water/sanitation projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and development of major civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, earthworks, stormwater, water/sanitation).
• Oversee preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, design docs and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS, municipal requirements and environmental laws.
• Manage project lifecycles from planning to closeout.
• Lead and mentor civil engineers and technicians.
• Act as technical lead for clients, contractors and authorities.
• Conduct site investigations and supervise construction activities for quality and safety.
• Manage resources, timelines and budgets for project delivery.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in business development and client engagement.
