You will oversee power distribution, lighting, earthing and standby systems, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with building services focus.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, retail and high-rise buildings.
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting design, standby and low-voltage systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, DIALux and electrical calculation tools.
• Strong knowledge of SANS 10142 and SANS 10114 regulations.
• Excellent project management and coordination skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Hybrid work capability with self-discipline and time management.
• ECSA professional registration (Pr. Eng.) preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead the design and development of electrical infrastructure for new building projects including power distribution, standby power, lighting and earthing.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and reports compliant with national standards and building codes.
• Manage electrical consultants and contractors to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and supervision to monitor progress and resolve technical challenges.
• Perform electrical load calculations, fault current analysis, and system design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and municipal regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers and other consultants for integrated building services design.
• Review and approve electrical design submissions from external parties.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Assist in developing maintenance strategies for newly established electrical infrastructure.
