Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of major civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, earthworks, stormwater management, and water/sanitation systems.

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant South African national standards (SANS), municipal requirements, and environmental legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.


• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential.


• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a substantial portion focused on infrastructure design and project management.


• Proven experience in the design and management of roads, stormwater, and water/sanitation projects.


• Strong understanding of relevant software packages (e.g., Civil 3D, AutoCAD, WaterGEMS, Paster).


• In-depth knowledge of municipal engineering standards, environmental impact assessments, and planning processes in Gauteng.


• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills.


• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines.
