Job summary

Arup, a global consultancy, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Seattle Civil Engineering team. You’ll help design how buildings connect to the built world, applying your Civil 3D skills to layout roads, drainage, utilities, site grading and earthwork.

You’ll use hydraulic modeling tools Hydraflow and EPANET to analyze stormwater, sanitary and potable water systems, research applicable codes and standards, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to reports, calculations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Professional demeanor.
• Strong communications skills for team-based work.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Layout roads, drainage, and utilities using Civil 3D.
