Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to lead multiple civil projects in accordance with U.S. military standards. You will guide a design team and collaborate across disciplines.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a P.E. license, 10–12+ years of civil design experience on industrial sites, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Hybrid work with relocation support is offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• 10–12+ years of civil design experience, industrial construction focus.
• 6+ years of drainage, grading and utility design experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple civil projects to DoD/US military standards.
• Develop site plans, grading designs and drainage solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality.
• Resolve complex design and construction challenges efficiently.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
