Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role leads civil design on large-scale federal projects, ensuring compliance with military standards and coordinating with architects, PMs, and construction teams.

You will mentor junior staff, develop site plans, and support DoD initiatives. The position offers a hybrid schedule with relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required and P.E. license.
• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design and project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Develop grading, drainage, utility and site layout plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, PMs and construction teams.
• Mentor junior staff and drive department improvements.
• Ensure designs meet DoD and federal requirements.
