Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group and lead civil design efforts for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will manage schedule, quality, and scope while working closely with clients to define requirements and expectations.

You will guide a multi-disciplinary team through conceptual land/site development, grading, and earthwork analyses, with mentorship opportunities in a collaborative environment and a clear path toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with large-scale industrial projects is expected.
• Experience with design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial civil design for land/site development and grading plans.
• Perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations.
• Oversee schedule and technical quality of complex tasks.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
