Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group, working on state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You will manage schedule and technical quality for civil design of land/site development, grading, and earthwork calculations, while learning client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with large industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of design for medium to large scale developments.
• Lead responsibilities on complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Develop site master planning and site selection.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain design.
• Design gravitational wastewater systems.
• Prepare final grading plans and earthwork balancing.
• Provide erosion and sediment control and stormwater plans.
• Ensure AHJ design/construction compliance.
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
