Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group, with opportunity to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will manage schedule and technical quality of challenging tasks, coordinating with multi-discipline teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license or plan to obtain within 6 months, and 15+ years of experience in large-scale industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in large-scale industrial developments.
• Strong knowledge of designing industrial facilities and site development.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design modules.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Site development, master planning, and site selection.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain design.
• Design of gravitational wastewater systems.
• Final grading plans with earthwork balancing.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control and stormwater plans.
• Ensure design compliance with local AHJ requirements.
