Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group. You’ll lead site development, due diligence, and grading analyses for large-scale data center and industrial facilities, coordinating with architects, energy teams, and utilities to drive feasible, cost-aware solutions.

The role offers hybrid work with a mix of Jacobs offices and remote locations. A PE license and 15+ years of site development experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and PE license.
• 15+ years of civil/site development and industrial project experience.
• Experience with site feasibility, due diligence, and land acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and due diligence for data center/industrial projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and prepare permitting packages.
• Develop grading, drainage, and utility design and reports.
• Support site selection and investment decisions.
